Kava Cream Soda Recipe

Ingredients
- ¼ tsp kava extract powder (with 30% kavalactones)
- 1 can (12 oz) cream soda
- 1 cup ice

Directions
- Blend: Add about ¼ of the can of cream soda to your glass to start. Add in the kava extract, then blend using a handheld electric frother until the kava is fully mixed in.
- Pour: Add the ice, then fill the rest of the glass with cream soda. (Tip: Pour slowly to keep the bubbles alive.) Give the glass a gentle swirl or stir with a spoon. Cheers!

- Stir without a Frother: If you don’t have a frother, you can use a matcha whisk or another small whisk. Warm up 2-3 tbsp of water in a small bowl or mug, then add in the kava extract powder. Whisk vigorously until combined. Pour this into your glass with ice, then top with cream soda and stir.
- Kava Strength: The perfect amount of kava isn’t the same for every person. We recommend starting with just 1 serving (¼ tsp) and then see how you feel. Not mellow enough? You can increase the kava:cream soda ratio a bit next time (or double down on the cream soda—we don’t judge).
- Cream Soda Type: We typically use Olipop or Zevia in our kava and kratom soda recipes—we love gut-friendly and low-calorie cans of fizz (and just to note, we aren’t in any way sponsored by either of them). You can use whichever cream soda brand you like best, though.
