Recent Survey Initiative
By the same token of supporting the plant and consumer through normalization, Top Tree Herbs supports research. Chiefly, they have partnered with Dr. Oliver Grundmann of the University of Florida to conduct a population survey of kratom tea drinkers. All things considered, there are not many papers one can point to in order to learn how kratom tea is taken in the States. Even though there have been some quality studies regarding the alkaloids, basic behaviors and patterns of consumption are relatively unknown. Indeed, Dr. Grundmann has published a large survey regarding kratom consumers in the past. However, in the 2017 survey there was no control for serving size.
