How to Use Kratom Teaware: Thermos vs Teapot

Introduction

Kratom teaware is here! If you’re new to kratom tea, we want to help you learn how to make simple and delicious kratom tea. As you may already know, those two words are rarely used to describe kratom tea. But contrary to popular opinion, kratom tea is actually pretty easy to make! And once you learn how to brew correctly, you’ll notice the taste improves and it’s quite an enjoyable experience!

To put that in perspective, making kratom tea is no harder than brewing a fresh cup of coffee. Especially if you use our kratom tea bags, which most of the techniques we’ll discuss today are designed around.

To get us started, we like to think of kratom tea like any other herbal tea. There are a lot of factors to consider, like flavor, brew equipment, herbal blends, brew time, and desired effect.

When you take everything into account, you’ll notice there’s no one-size-fits-all when it comes to making the perfect cup of kratom tea. And since we’re talking about making kratom tea better, let’s jump to the chase: we have teaware to learn about!

Meet Kratom Teaware

We’re thrilled to share these beautiful tea accessories with you. It was a long time in the making, but so worth the wait!

You can choose between a beautiful European style glass teapot with strainer, or any of the new-and-improved kratom tea thermoses! We took what we learned from the first line of tea thermoses and improved the designs.

In this post we’ll introduce all the teaware and explain how to use them. There is a functional element to each item, so we recommend checking them all out before deciding.

Top Pick: The Travel Tea Thermos

Enjoy a perfect cup of kratom tea on-the-go with your Top Tree tea thermos – the fan favorite that our whole crew also uses for our daily brewer.

In addition to being able to choose between red, green, or black, you’ll love some of the design features that make this thermos so great.

Features and Benefits:

  • Outdoor travel tea thermos
  • Modern bullet design
  • 600ml capacity + teacup
  • Stainless steel & spill-proof
  • Vacuum insulated – keeps your kratom tea hot or cold for 6-12 hours

How to Make Perfect Kratom Tea

There are only 4 steps. First, add your Top Tree tea bags to your thermos while the water heats. Next, squeeze lemon juice over the teabags. Lime juice will also work, as will vinegar. The goal is to make an acidic environment, so you get a better alkaloid extraction.

The third step begins once the water is boiling. Pour the hot water into your thermos and close it up! Wait 20 minutes and you’re done! Delicious, simple, effective kratom tea every time. And now for the final step.

Step four: REPEAT the process with the same tea bags! It’s not an exact science, but you will get a good second brew if you’re using 2-3 tea bags. On the flip side, if you start with one tea bag, you’ll probably want to add another during step four.

If you’re wondering about flavoring, you have a few easy options. The in-house favorite is agave, lemon kratom tea, which is as simple as sweeting your tea with avave. Going a step further, you can add a tea bag of your favorite non-kratom herbal tea. The water will still be steaming hot since the vacuum thermos stays hot for hours.

500ml Stainless Steel Kratom Tea Thermos

If you like a sleeker shaped design, check out our beautiful steel tea thermoses. We’ve been brewing in them a few weeks and they’re durable, portable, and large enough to brew a big cup of kratom tea. Note: this is our only tea thermos without a built-in teacup – not that it’s hard to find a separate cup in almost any situation. On the flip side, it’s our best thermos to use with loose leaf.

300ml Glass Tea Bottle with Infuser

Our last thermos is a double walled glass thermos with tea infuser. The design is sleek and made to travel, although we still view it more as an at-home option.

As a word of caution, don’t leave this thermos on expensive electronics or anything fragile as it brews. Even though we’ve used ours for months with no issues, we recently learned that this style thermos is prone to breaking if handled roughly right after adding boiling water.

The other reason this is more of an at-home option is that 300ml is a small cup of tea, so you can rebrew the same tea bags 2 or 3 times before getting new ones.

And remember, all our tea bags are biodegradable! So, throw them in the compost if you have one. And for the serious homebrewers among us, meet the first Top Tree kratom teapot!

How to Use the Kratom Teapot

If you brew kratom tea at home often, you’ll love the first Top Tree teapot! The whole teapot is made from heat-resistant glass and has a strainer cup with wooden lid.

The design is both sleek and functional – the strainer helps control leaf separation and density while your herbs steep. It works great with loose-leaf teas.

To use the teapot, remove the lid and add your kratom tea to the glass strainer, add water to slightly above the tea leaves (see photo), and put it on the stovetop over medium high heat.

If your goal is potency, make sure to add lemon juice before you heat your tea. After 20 minutes, simply pour your finished kratom tea into your teacup, sweeten, and enjoy!

Like always, we recommend repeating the same process before recycling the used teabags!

Conclusion

Well, there you have it. A quick breakdown of all four of our newest teaware. We’re thrilled to finally have these in circulation, since—simply put—they’re the best way to make kratom tea out there. We’re kratom people first and foremost, so we wanted teaware that complemented our kratom tea bags. Each item does that in a different, and helpful way – or so we hope!

As a final note, we tried to make Top Tree teaware as affordable as possible to encourage everyone to brew correctly! High quality at a low cost, we hope you enjoy. Cheers to better brewing!
