1-Ingredient Peach Kratom Iced Tea

Yes! You can make really good peach kratom iced tea with just one ingredient.

Ok, two ingredients if you count the water. Three if you want to add a splash of lemon juice. Four if you want to add a bit of sweetener… Don’t sue us.

We swear this recipe is great with just water and a tea bag. Here’s why: we use our specialty tea called Peach Balance, which contains kratom leaf and a peach-flavored adaptogenic herbal tea blend. The blend has holy basil (an adaptogen), rooibos (an antioxidant with a lightly sweet flavor), and all-natural peach and mango flavor.

If you don’t have Peach Balance on hand—are you ok?! We kid—if you don’t have Peach Balance on hand, you’re fine: you can make your iced peach kratom tea with plain kratom tea bags (or plain loose leaf kratom) and an herbal peach tea bag.

PEACH KRATOM ICED TEA

Steep time: 15-25 minutes

Ingredients

• 2 Peach Balance kratom tea bags
• 2 ½ cups (20 oz) filtered water
• Optional: 2 tsp lemon or lime juice
• Optional: 2-4 tsp sweetener, more or less to taste
• 2 cups ice

Directions

1. Bring water to a boil in an electric kettle (or on the stove).
2. Add the tea bags and the (optional) lemon or lime juice to a thermos or insulated mug.
3. Pour in boiling water, then allow to steep for 15-25 minutes.
4. Remove the tea bags and add sweetener to taste (also optional).
5. Transfer tea to a jar and place it in the fridge to chill for 30-60 minutes.
6. Split between to glasses, add ice, and enjoy.

Recipe Notes

• Tea Variety: If you don’t have Peach Balance on hand, try brewing this with two plain kratom tea bags and two peach tea bags. For the peach tea bags, we recommend sticking with a caffeine-free option, since the kratom tea can be energizing.
• Large Batch/Long-Term Storage: Plan on leaving your iced peach kratom tea in the fridge for a while or making a bulk batch to drink over a few days? We opt to not use any lemon or lime juice while brewing, because the active compounds break down faster in acidic liquid. Just add in your citrus when you serve your tea. You can store leftover tea in the fridge for 3-5 days.
