→ 8-12 oz filtered water
→ 205-212°F (96-100°C)

Better Brewing Tips:

• Keep it hot! Use a thermos or brew at a simmer on the stove to maintain a high temperature. (In Southeast Asia, people often steep at a simmer for hours—your leaves can take the heat, literally!)
• Strengthen. Add 1-2 tsp lemon or lime juice per serving and/or steep longer to make stronger tea.**
• Get it smooth. After steeping, pour your tea through a very fine strainer or coffee filter to separate the leaves from the tea.
• Rebrew. Steep your tea leaves again for a slightly weaker second cup.

Batch Brew Directions  •  makes 4 servings

• Add 12g (about ¼ cup) loose leaf tea and 4 cups water to a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce heat to a low simmer. Continue to brew for 15-25 minutes.
• Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly, then strain tea through a fine mesh strainer. Sweeten to taste and enjoy hot or over ice.
• Leftover tea can be stored in the fridge for 3-5 days. Have up to 5 servings per day.

**Skip the citrus while brewing if you’re making enough to last a few days. Tea made with lemon or lime juice may lose strength more quickly than plain tea.

Our loose leaf green vein kratom doesn’t have a strain. We know this is a little odd, but there’s a very good reason for why we don’t use strain names at Top Tree.

There’s a big secret in the kratom world that most companies don’t want you to know: typically, batches of kratom sent from Southeast Asia to the US don’t actually have a strain name associated with them, just a vein color.

Stateside kratom companies have their own processes for assigning strain names to a various batches of kratom once they receive them. Sometimes they assign the names at random, sometimes they use lab testing results to determine what strain name a batch will have.

This means that a product called Super Green Malay from one company will be different from a product called Super Green Malay from a different company. Each strain doesn’t actually come from a particular country or type of tree with a particular leaf color or shape.

Our team isn’t interested in telling tall tales about kratom. We want you to have all of the facts. That’s why all of our kratom is strainless.
