A loose leaf tea thermos is great for any type of tea you’ve had sitting in your kitchen cabinet, just waiting for an easier tool to help you brew it.

But for kratom tea specifically, an insulated thermos is an essential tool. Kratom tea take longer to steep than most other teas, so it helps to use an insulated thermos or tumbler to maintain a high temperature while you brew.

Plus, a loose leaf tea thermos makes it possible to brew crushed-leaf kratom anywhere, not just at home. Bring it with you to work or throw it in your pack while you bike, hike, or travel.

Unscrew the top and bottom pieces of the filter. Add loose leaf tea or kratom tea bags to the bottom filter basket, then screw on the top piece. Place filter into thermos bottle, then add boiling water. Screw on the lid and leave tea to steep for 15-25 minutes.

Allow to cool slightly before drinking or removing the tea filter. Pour into another mug or a glass with ice. Rebrew tea leaves a second time to make a few more slightly weaker cups.

When you’re done using the thermos, remove filter basket and rinse out tea leaves. Wash main thermos bottle by hand with a bottle brush (dishwashing may damage the outer coating of the bottle). Lid and filter are dishwasher safe on top rack only. Be careful not to stack heavy items on top of the filter. Let all parts dry fully before reassembling and storing.
