To make 1-3 servings:

1. Measure out 3-9 grams of loose leaf tea with your Hippo Mini and pour it into your thermos.
2. Boil water (8-12 oz per serving) and pour it into the thermos. Carefully attach the tea strainer—the opening will be hot with steam from the boiling water—and screw on the leakproof cap. Flip the thermos upside down a few times, then leave it to steep for 15-25 minutes.
3. Remove the cap and pour the tea into the thermos lid or a mug. Add sweetener to taste.
4. Tip: For perfectly smooth tea, pour the tea through a coffee filter or very fine strainer before drinking.

To make 4+ servings:

1. Measure out your loose leaf tea with your Hippo Mini and add it to a small or medium pot. Add water (8-12 oz per serving) to the pot.
2. Cover, bring to a boil, then reduce to a low simmer. Allow the tea to steep for 15-25 minutes.
3. Pour the tea through a coffee filter or very fine strainer into a large jar or heat-safe container. Sweeten to taste.
4. Store leftover tea in the fridge for 3-5 days.
