Making kratom tea in a tea thermos is the fastest and easiest way to brew it – and there’s no compromise on strength or flavor. The perfect option for when you’re on the go or just too busy to watch the stove.
What’s the difference between a regular thermos and a tea thermos? The cap on a tea thermos often doubles as a tea cup/mug. A tea thermos may also have a strainer that can keep loose leaf tea, tea bags, or other ingredients from plopping into your mug as you pour your kratom tea.
Boil water using any method you prefer (electric kettle, coffee maker, microwave).
While water is boiling, add tea bags and lemon juice (if using) to your thermos.
Pour boiling water over tea bags and seal your thermos. Steep for 15-25 minutes, depending upon desired strength and flavor.
The longer you brew, the stronger (and slightly more bitter) your tea will be.
Open thermos, sweeten to taste, and add any desired flavors or creamer – creamer is best when not using any lemon juice.
Pour tea into your tea thermos cap or a mug to drink.
You can typically rebrew your kratom tea bags to make a slightly weaker second thermos-full of tea – the strength of this second brew will depend upon the length & strength of your initial brew.
