The 2022 Nice List
- It has been a year since the WHO decided to forgo a critical review of kratom. That’s a reason to celebrate! There are still massive obstacles that we face in the kratom community, from people who are locked up for using kratom to advocates who are under attack because of societal misunderstandings. We’re facing these challenges one day at a time, and we are incredibly grateful to be doing so alongside such a strong and compassionate community.
- Keeping in touch with the kratom tea community: If you’re not already following us on social media, look us up! Since Top Tree is primarily an online small business, this is one of the best ways we have to stay in touch with our community of kratom tea drinkers. Plus, we post holiday specials, product updates, recipes, tips & tricks, and so much more.
- The Kratom Holiday Gift Guide is up! We’ve put together a list of gifts for any type of kratom tea drinker. From teas to date ideas to podcast subscriptions, we’ve got plenty of suggestions and inspiration for you.
- We’ve finally posted our spectacular Speciosa Sangria recipe. It’s a showstopper, bursting with color that will knock the socks off all of your relatives or friends during your holiday gatherings. We’ve worked tirelessly to create many other kratom tea recipes this year, and will be posting new ones as frequently as possible.
- Top Tree is using more sustainable packaging! This year we transitioned away from our plastic/paper composite tea pouches. Now, all our kratom tea strains are in fully recyclable tea pouches! We’ve always got the environment on our minds, and are taking steps each day to improve and lessen our impact on the planet.
- The DEA retracted a scheduling order for the first time since kratom set the precedent in 2017! Spearheaded by Hamilton Morris (who was assisted by Top Tree’s founder Soren Shade) a number of psychedelics have been spared the Schedule 1 treatment. Finally, beneficial compounds are being left alone, and the draconian logic behind prohibition is fading.
