Easy Tulsi Iced Tea Recipe with Peach and Mango

When it comes to refreshing drinks with a depth of flavor and a hint of sophistication, our kratom tulsi iced tea with sage is a front-runner. This green vein kratom iced tea recipe brings together a collection of ingredients known for their unique flavors and health benefits, creating a beverage that’s as nourishing as it is enjoyable.

Whether you’re winding down after a hectic day or kicking back with friends on a sunny afternoon, our kratom tulsi iced tea is the perfect companion. It offers a refreshing, aromatic, and slightly sweet flavor profile with an exciting interplay of vibrant and earthy notes.

On top of that, tulsi kratom tea is more than just a tasty melding of flavors. It’s a testimony to the global coming-together of ingredients. Each brings along a snippet of its home culture, creating a harmonious blend that tells a story of tradition, wellness, and enjoyment from different parts of the world.

What’s the Easiest Way to Make Kratom and Tulsi Iced Tea?

The answer is pretty simple: use a blend!

At the heart of our tulsi sage iced tea recipe is a kratom tea blend—not plain-leaf kratom tea. In particular, we use Tulsi Balance kratom tea. Tulsi Balance is a blend of green vein kratom with tulsi and rooibos, along with peach and mango flavors.

You can also use Holy Peach kratom tea to craft this recipe. Both Holy Peach and Tulsi Balance contain the same ingredients. However, Tulsi Balance has 3 grams of crushed-leaf kratom and 2 grams of the herbal blend, whereas Holy Peach has 1.5 grams of kratom leaf and 1.5 grams of the herbal blend.

Tea made with Holy Peach will thus have a stronger flavor of peach, mango, tulsi, and rooibos relative to the kratom flavor. To maintain a strong flavor, you’ll just need to use a greater number of tea bags, because Holy Peach tea bag each weighs less than each Tulsi Balance tea bag.

By using a kratom tea blend, you’ll be able to make a drink with a complex and unique flavor using just three ingredients!

Instead of buying and preparing each ingredient separately, you’ll have an all-in-one tea blend to use as the base of your drink. In addition to the kratom tea blend, water, and ice, the only other ingredients you’ll need are sage leaves and lemon (or lime) juice.

Getting to Know the Ingredients in Tulsi Kratom Iced Tea

Rooibos and Tulsi Kratom Iced Tea Blend
Tulsi Balance perfectly blends together antioxidant-rich plants like rooibos and holy basil with green vein kratom tea and delectable notes of peach and mango. It’s a Top Tree staff favorite for making a quick batch of kratom and tulsi iced tea.

If you’re unfamiliar with holy basil and the other ingredients in this blend, here’s a bit more info on why they’re beloved—and why they’ll be a great addition to your next glass of iced tea:

  1. Green Vein Kratom

For the TTH team, green vein kratom is a go-to choice for supporting mood and motivation without the jitters and crash of coffee. We love drinking green vein kratom tea in the early evening in place of caffeinated drinks, which is why it’s the perfect base for a refreshing iced tea that you can drink on a hot summer afternoon.

  2. Tulsi (Holy Basil)

Tulsi, also known as holy basil, is an adaptogenic herb. It adds a hint of spice and a touch of earthy undertones to this green vein blend. Like kratom, Tulsi grows throughout Southeast Asia. It’s also native to the Indian subcontinent. Tulsi has been revered in Ayurvedic and modern medicine for its potential to relieve the strains of daily life and balance the body’s energy.

  3. Rooibos

Also known as red bush tea, rooibos originates from the Western Cape province of South Africa. Its history is deeply rooted in the region’s indigenous Khoisan people, who were the first to harvest and use the plant for its beneficial properties. Rooibos introduces a natural sweetness and a deep amber color to the tea. Packed with antioxidants, it offers a wealth of health benefits (that’s why you’ll also find rooibos in our chai kratom tea blend).

  4. Peach and Mango

The infusion of peach and mango brings a tropical charisma to kratom tea. Without a doubt, these flavors elevate the tulsi kratom iced tea with a lively, fruity personality to brighten your day.

Clearly there are a number of reasons to pick a kratom tea blend for your tulsi iced tea, from the ease of preparation to the potential health benefits to the cheerful flavors.

However, if you don’t want to use a blend or only have raw leaf tea on hand, that’s alright! Instead of using the blend, you can make your tulsi iced tea with raw leaf kratom tea bags. Just brew a separate bag of tulsi tea (or loose-leaf tulsi) alongside your kratom tea.

If you go this route, you can even add in the peach and mango flavor using fresh fruits or individual extracts.

Melding Tulsi, Peach, and Mango Tea with Sage Tea

Our kratom tulsi iced tea is infused and garnished with sage, introducing a rich, savory note to the drink.

Sage carries a long history of culinary and medicinal use. It’s often appreciated for its potential antioxidant properties. This aromatic herb also introduces a warm, calming note, embracing the tropical vibes with a touch of sophistication.

Don’t Love Sage? Try Rosemary or Thyme for Rich Tulsi Iced Tea Flavor

Don’t have any sage on hand? As an alternative to sage, you can infuse your iced tea with herbs that have a similar flavor profile. In addition to sage, woodsy herbs like rosemary or thyme seamlessly complement the fruity notes in the peach-and-mango-flavored tulsi iced tea.

Or, exclude the added herbs altogether and just enjoy an effortless and delicious tulsi iced tea that contains solely the ingredients included in the Tulsi Balance blend.

Kratom Tulsi Iced Tea with Sage

Prep time: minutes

Brew time: 20 minutes

Servings: 2 large glasses

Ingredients

  • 2 Tulsi Balance peach and mango kratom tea bags (see note)
  • 2 tsp lemon juice or lime juice
  • 4 cups water (3 cups if brewing in a thermos)
  • 5-10 fresh sage leaves or 1-2 tsp dry leaves, plus a few extra sprigs for garnish
  • Optional: 1-2 tsp sweetener of choice (see note)
  • 2 cups ice cubes

Directions

  1. Brew your tea: add tea bags and lemon or lime juice to a pot or thermos. If brewing on the stove, add water to pot and bring to a boil; reduce to a simmer and allow to steep for 10-15 minutes; cover if needed to prevent too much water from boiling off. If brewing in a thermos, boil water and pour over tea bags. Cap the thermos and allow tea to steep for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Add sage: add sage leaves to pot or thermos and allow everything to steep for 5 more minutes.
  3. Strain your tea: remove tea bags and sage leaves with a spoon. If using dried sage (or loose leaf tulsi instead of the tulsi kratom blend), pour tea through a fine mesh strainer. Transfer to a heat-safe serving jug or jar. Sweeten to taste.
  4. Chill and serve: allow your tea to cool in the fridge for about 60 minutes. Pour over ice, then garnish with fresh sage leaves or lime slices.

Notes

Kratom tea: We recommend using Tulsi Balance or a raw leaf green vein tea for this recipe. However, you can substitute green vein kratom for any variety of raw leaf kratom tea.

Herbs: Using raw kratom leaf tea bags and loose leaf tulsi instead of Tulsi Balance? Add in 2g loose leaf tulsi to your pot or thermos along with your tea bags and steep according to the directions above.

If you’d like to use thyme or rosemary instead of sage, you can follow the instructions above without any adjustments. Thyme, sage, and rosemary tea are all typically steeped for about 5 minutes to make tea.

Alternatively, to give your tea a lighter herb flavor, allow the tulsi tea bags and lemon/lime juice to steep for 1-2 minutes more before adding the sage, rosemary, or thyme. Then, steep the herbs and tea bags together for just 3-4 minutes instead of the full 5 minutes.

Sweetener: Tulsi Balance provides some natural sweetness, so you may find that the recipe as written tastes delicious without any added sweetener. Even so, if you’re a fan of sweet teas or if you’re using raw leaf kratom tea instead of the blend, you can add a few teaspoons of sweetener like agave or cane sugar to your tea to make it sweeter.
